TRENDS: Boutonniere Pocket Squares

I had the pleasure of attending Wedding MBA this past week in the fabulous Las Vegas, NV. In another post I will post highlights of my trip.

However, for now I couldn’t get over one of the wedding trends for 2017 “Boutonniere Pocket Squares” that I had to share this funny story which apparently is trending.

So, what is a Boutonniere Pocket Square? Instead of pinning the boutonniere to the groom or groomsmen tuxedo you are actually applying it to the pocket square.

For the wedding of Sherea & Brandon this year, someone had borrowed my emergency stash of pins and there was none to pin on the guys.

So, a lil WWMD (what would macgyver do?) and wahlah the Boutonniere Pocket Squares was born.

On this rainy day in May, I just knew the wind would huff and puff and block the delicate petals away but they didn’t and we got some amazing photos to prove it.
